It time to dispel fact from fiction.

Friends with benefits. What a joke. Your actually kidding yourself if you think this works. It’s a trap. Sham. Charade. It was invited by the real game players. Someone always falls harder, faster. Its science. Who wins in this game? It’s like a bandaid for loneliness. FWB Fail.

Long distance relationships. Are bad, bad, stupid ideas. It can be the death march of a perfectly good relationship. It’s simple. You can have a terrible relationship and great sex, well it makes you stick around a little longer. You can have a perfectly good relationship and ok sex.. hmm, the wandering eyes start. But a perfectly good relationship when you don’t see each other, it’s just absolute madness. A ticking emotional time bomb.. distance, boring phone conversations and jealousy.

Unrealistic fairy tales have ruined it for me. Honestly, look at the role models we had growing up. Beauty and the beast. Cinderella. Pretty Woman. Maid in Manhattan. Ladies, we might as well all quit our jobs, start cleaning and wait for prince charming to sweep you off your feet and save you from your pathetic little lives. I mean, come on. De.. wait for it… nied. Yeah man, when the candlesticks start talking.
